just wondering, i know a store local that has some.

I was after just a female, also what can they be mixed with?

i would say tank that is 18in or wider, though it would take a LONG time for one to outgrow a 12in wide tank, tank mates would depend on size of tank, if you are thinking of putting one in your 120g that is in your signature then could probably keep the GT and one of the Sevs with her if its a 4ft tank, if its 5ft then you may be able to keep 2 sevs but not sure, none of those fish are as aggressive as festae

is my 4ftx2ftx2ft not adequate then guys?

Its just a possibility really, Festaes are near impossible to get in England and now i have found one...im tempted lol :P

I was thinking about getting a festae or pair as well. Would a pair along with possibly 2 orinos work in a 125g?

i think it may be a possibility if she is a lot smaller than your other fish but you will def have to further cut down on your stock, and possibly even have to totally restock with 1 MAYBE 2 tank mates that are more aggressive

and Greg31, that stock def wouldnt work in a 125 long term, male festae and pbass get WAY to big and a spawning pair of festae will obliterate them, you could put a festae pair in there for a couple of years but they would eventually need a bigger tank (because 125s are only 12in wide right? if its 18in wide then it should be fine for a pair by themselves but no tankmates)

That sounds good to me as long as there aren't any othe tankmates.

I agree. Be careful with that other stock. Festae can be verrry aggressive.

The 4'x2' would be a great species or breeding tank!

By the way, Sarah, tell your sociology teacher she needs to learn about the interconnectedness of the world economy! Hahaha!
