There really is no one species thats more agressive than other species,It seems to be an individual matter some bichirs are easy going and some are
holy terrors -Anne

The most aggressive bichir is the one that just ate its tank-mates and is looking at you hungrily. In my experience, the bichir most likely to eat others of its own kind is Polypterus weeksii but there are probably as many opinons on this topic as there are bichir keepers.

I agree its all down to the individuals personality.

it really does depend on the fish, however I'd say endlicheri is the best eater therefore the most dangerous to tankmates/food. I've noticed that the ornates tend to be more active and ravenous towards feeders than others I've seen, they will try endlessly to get some big fish in their mouthes.

I got an ornate tats extremely territorial. Even an endy twice its size going near its driftwood it will just snap and chase it. So imo ornates are the aggressive ones
