What is the most beautifully colored African cichlid?

For me it's a toss up between sunshine peacocks and jewel cichlids. These are some fish I had kept a few years back.

Leleupi will be the reason my next tank is an African cichlid one.
The faces on them are so cute, they just say "love me" and so I do.

I agree--- I have a mixed tank because of the Leleupi. That fish is perrrrrrrrrrfect.

Just picked up a ruby red peacock at a local auction. Pretty colorful for being in the tank for 24 hours

I'll narrow it down to two. My Yellow Rock Hap & Nimbochromis Fuscotaeniatus. There's just so many to choose from.

I don’t k ow that I have ever seen the yellow rock hap. That is a great looking fish.

Its a Lake Victoria Hap, Haplochromis Sauvagei. I have a group of five. 2x males
3x females. The females are yellow. Grow to 4". Not aggressive. Very active, fearless & really likes rocks. Great fish to keep.
