In a box of Pop Tarts!
OK so here is my question. I have 11 tanks that I am currently maintaining. In the last year or so ,because of this site, I have really upped my attention and maintinece on my tanks to keeps things running at optimum conditions. For the most part all is well. As I came back into my office this afternoon I noticed a fishy smell and through further investigation I realized that one of my fish had jumped out of the tank:( I have so many tanks that as I was checking the fish out this morning I didn't even realize that he was missing:irked:What do you guys find is the most frustrating part of owning multiple tanks? Especially when you have other obligations that you also have to attend to like work, school, family, etc.

I've learned to downsize. I now have 3 tanks and want to down it one more. I think 2 tanks are good for me;)

i only have 4 but with school, work, and mom being disabled it's hard to take care of the fish, snake, and frogs too but i make time

Have seven tanks but 3 are awaiting new fish so I clean only four at the moment. The only thing frustrating at the moment here is house renovations which hamper my plans to locate my 10g dedicated to betta sorority.

well being a stay at home mom withh 11 tanks, the hardest thing would be making sure that everyone gets there proper diet for the day. I usually start with one tank and to get to tnak number 11 is pretty hard with chores, and house stuff and errands....especially since its not just walk by he tank and toss ina few lfaks here. WE have alot of different food and special diets.

I find that the hardest part is changing all the water in the tanks at once without being interrupted. I have six tanks and would like to get rid of all the smaller ones and keep my 125, and add a 300 gallon tank to the mix.

I find when its feeding time it take me easily 30 min just for feeding:ROFL: I love it but man...sometimes I'm like I could be doing something better with my time.

The most frustrating for me is water changes. I am on a cistern so I have to haul my own water. Doing a change on all the tanks at once dang near empties the cistern.:irked:

lol...

i have currently have 8 tanks running.. along with school, and a social life.. i have no time to relax at all..

WCs are the worse part for me.. it takes me at least 4 hours to do them all.. thats using tubes to fill and drain..

3x75s 1x55 1x125 1x45 1x29 1x10

and in the summer i have a pond..

but i guess its better than the 13 tanks i had set up at one point...
