What is the most popular bichir?

I know its probably subjective, but I saw a couple Delhezis and their shape and patterns look best to me of all bichirs. How do they rank among bichir aficionados? Oh, and how do you pronounce bichir? I say *****-eer, guy at lfs insists on calling them "bikers", whats the official pronounciation?

Bi-cheers for me. Delhezi is my favorite, big fan of the common senegal and palmas species, ornates, ah hell i love em all

So far I definitely see the appeal of the delhezis, theyre almost reptilan and have very friendly "faces". And they really seem to enjoy each others company. Theres three of them at my lfs and I find myself going to visit them a lot.

If I had the tanks space and $165 to spare I already would have. I might reshuffle my stock and get one but I really want at least two. The pair at my lfs were raised together, I like how bonded they are.

i call em bikers, mostly because thats what every store ive been to calls them.

ornates, laps, and weeksii are best looking imo. there are some really nice dels out there tho

The best looking polys to me are delhezi and endlies with big dark patterns. I like the endlies with the eyes that look like they're about to pop out of their heads too. But I think to most people, ornate is the most popular.
