what is the most reliable and longest lasting heater?

Stealth Visitherm from Petsmart and price match the thing! $20.99 for the 250 watt and the things rock. I use them in all my tanks and I won't ever buy anything else!!!

Both are good heaters. I prefer the jagers. I run jagers in all my tank except my sons 2.5 gallon tank.

I replaced all my heaters with ebo jaegers last year.They certainly appear very well built and I havent had any trouble with them

thats not true i paid 40 for my all glass 150watt heater and it is crap.

I've always used Jager but am making the switch to Stealth for the simple reason that Jagers are HUGE.
