what is the salt tolerance of silver aros?

Need to know becuase i have an outbreak of ich. Would the silver be ok in 0.3%?

Just follow the directions on the back of box and it should be fine. Don't forget to raise the temperature up too.

You can do up to 0.3% for short periods. Generally to cure ich, 0.1-0.2% and raise temp to 86 should do the trick. With salt it doesn't evaporate, so water changes are the usual method to dilute it down.

short periods, how long roughly? i was thinking a week to 2 weeks?

1-2 weeks should be fine.

With ich I have found in the past 0.1-0.2% temp 86 and 3 days to week ich has gone.
