Hello everybody,
So I found an excellent deal on an 85 gallon fish tank, the woman is selling the tank with filter, stand, heater, cover, lights and everything-including fish at an incredible price, so I will definetely be buying it because it is always good to have an extra tank around. Anyway does anybody know the measurements for a standard 85 gallon tank? I didn't even know that their was a stamdard 85 gallon tank. Also if this where your tank what would you do with it? The tank already comes with fish but most likely I will give the fish to the lfs unless the fish are something of interest to me. I'm usually interested in having freshwater stingray tanks but this tank is a little small, I will have to see the measurements first, cause I guess I could use it as a grow out, if not I'm thinking african cichlids with a lot of lace rack and fake plants. So what would you do? Thanks

why the hell dont you just ask the woman to measure it for you, then you can tell us the measurement of a standard 85

I don't think there is a stadard 85 gallon. Ask her to measure it, then figure out what the gallons are to make sure you are getting what they are telling you. I went to look at a 55 once, and it turned out to be a 30, and a 90 that turned out to be a 60, but it was free. Most people don't know what they have.

My 85 gallon is 48" x 18" x 23"
