What is the worst place you've snagged a fish?

I was out fishing, and wasn't getting any bites. I finally decided to call it quits, I began to bring my line in. I felt a sudden pull on the line. I managed to hook a very big carp! I pull it in, and realized i snagged it; the hook was shoved up the fish's anus. I felt so bad for it. It took about 15 minutes to get the hook out.

considering accidental snagging rarely occurs and even then most don't get hooked up the butt, it really says absolutely nothing about catch and release

as far as snagging, i tend to snag a lot more fish at the beach, pinfish usually when fishing structure and the occasional bream when bass fishing. I managed
to snag two pinfish in one cast on a single hook bucktail once though, both in the side i was so confused when i pulled it in haha. Couldn't complain though, free cutbait trailers

Hahahaha, nice one...

I have snagged fish in their anus a couple of times as well, but msot times its just baitfish.. Pinfish,sardines,pilchards on a sabiki rig.

Hooks in odd places happen.... If you dont want it to happen try circle hooks, ive been using them for over 5 years now and wouldnt look back.
