What is this Arowana Disease

I have never seen anything like that before so here's a shot in the dark that it could be fungus or dropsy....
 
There's a moderator here who is really good with ailments and treatments but I forget his name.Whatever it is I'm sorry to have seen that photo.
 
I've seen this pic in google... Poor ole jar hope he would have recovered and would be good to know what disease it is.

No idea what it is but I can't see recovery from that its horrible poor jar :'(
 
I've seen this before, I think it's basically a growth and not a disease, but I could be wrong.
 
Yeah, this is crazy. I've never seen any other photos of a fish with it.
It looks like it's intestines came out of it's gills. Scary D:
