What is this fish? Is it a male?

OK, so I bought this peacock and thought it was a male as the fins were coloring. Now I'm not so sure. I can't even remember what it was sold to me as. Something Red. Ruby Red? Red Empress? Who knows...

Any idea what it is? Is it a fem? It's only an inch long right now...

I vote on giving it a little more time. Still seems quite young.
 
Post a pic. when it gets to be 3-4".
