What is this fish?

This came in with a bag full of plecos.. I have no idea what it is.. Some sort of Tetra or Pencilfish? Any info would help!

It's for sale too, btw ;)

Yeah.. we are heading in the right direction. I am too lazy to get out a book to look up a Characin.. heh.

Miguel says it is super-rare, but I have no idea.
 
Anostomus Leporinus striatus, striped headstander, count the stripes and look at the mouth position. It gets around 16" max. and is an omnivore that loves small worms. I had one tha reached 12" before I sold it, 8" to 12" in about 16 months, they like boiled veggies too. Mine was very mellow.

$10.. get some plecos and tetras while your at it to make it worth your time ;) He currently is in my planted community tank with dwarf cichlids, ctenopoma and other peaceful fish.. Hes neat ;)
