What is this fish?

I got this fish about a year ago from my LFS and they told me she was a red devil. I didn't believe them and got her anyway. I'm not sure if she is a blood parrot or maybe something else

It looks like it might be a "short bodied" variant of a red devil.It does not look completely like a blood red parrot.

her face doesn't look like a blood parrot but i have only found one picture online that looks like her. it was of a "female super king kong blood parrot"

Since blood parrots are simply line bred very mutant strains of red devils, and out of any spawn you will get some that are more or less mutated, I get the feeling yours is just one of the slightly less mutant parts of a spawn.

Appears to me to be a King Kong Parrot, Yours has awesome color. I believe they get a bit larger than the standard parrot hybrid.

That's kind of what I was thinking considering the only picture on the internet that I could find that looks like her is of that type of parrot she reduculisly aggressive however and can only be by herself.

KKP or a F1 Red texas short body. I've seen Red Texas F1 look like that.

I think you've got that backwards. "Parrots" are culls that they managed to market. The further you get from that horrible vagina mouth the higher the quality. KKP'S Red Mammon ect. None of them have that gross mouth.
