What is this?!?!? Help please!

After doing a water change I notice that there is white stringy stuff in my 20g saltwater, what is it? I checked the params for calcium mag and KH a few days ago and all was great, I just added corals in the past week and they are doing great. But what is this? Sorry no pictures.

It was almost a year ago but I remember it being fine...

sometimes after I do a WC in my SW there is a bunch of floating stuff at the top of the tank... do you experience that? it could be something from live rock if you have live rock...

I don't know maybe the coral is causing it? I would get this moved to the SW section were there are people that have more experience and are better with SW...

Do you have an anemone? Sounds like anemone discharge or even sperm. I had a bubble tip that would release that stuff all over the tank. He was constantly splitting. I got a lot of store credit from that guy.

If you have corals some do spew out long stringy spider web like strands. Mushrooms do this often and like said before anemones also.

No guys, Only 2 Corals. A torch and a Colony Polyp, I noticed this only happened (I may be wrong) when sand would get on them when I would be moving things around in the tank but I would hold them up against the power head to get rid of the sand, This happened yesterday but not as much, As I said there is probably something else but everything is fine now though.
