What is this? I.D. please

I have seen this before on here I believe, however the name escapes me, but I'm sure someone on here will remember the name.
bought this fish out of the assorted cichlids tank, which other than this fish contained the usual assortment of random rift cichlids. If this helps at all, he can go from that color to a real dark brown with a light tan spot on top of his head. Thanks in advance. (also sorry mods, can't remember what it is, or I would put it in a better section than general aquaria discussion, so feel free to move it)

Looks like a Chocolate cichlid (Hypselecara temporalis), but if you got it from a mixed African tank it might be Tilapia mariae. I've never seen them that young so I'm not sure what they look like as juveniles.

Did a quick search. Almost certainly a juvie chocolate cichlid

Thanks, I was thinking chocolate too at the time (I've had it for a month), but they were selling those in another tank that didn't look much like this guy, but then again he was stressed at the time.
