What is this i fed my fish?

So my dad came over and helped me cut down a tree and i am finding these under the bark

I have feed a few to my tank and my jack dempsey can not get enough of them. Can anyone tell me what they are and are they safe to feed to my fish. I never use chemicals in my yard and no neighbor has either since early spring.

Some kind of grub - no worries in feeding them to your fish as treats!

Its safe to feed for a treat. I give them to my fish and poultry all the time.

Bear Grylls would eat that himself, as do many people around the world. I bet your fish loves 'em!

Bear can have them. The tree was full of all sorts of bugs . I left the hornets/bees that were buried in the wood, didnt want any accidental stings. But the grubs looked safe enough to feed. Plus i was curious if the grubs could have had any part in why my tree died.
