It has the same fins and structure as the others. Except the colors are very different. Idk what species though.

Looks like a Petenia splendida, tho never see such weird black color before. Someone a Red Bay confused with a Devil maybe and breed them? XD

I really think the profile is too long to be the typical red tex. Do you have a pic of the others?

Nah i stop by after work n seen him there...
Wanna hear something funny i ask the guy at the lfs what is mixed in with the red texas n he said they all red texas but different colors..... YEA!!!!

Yeah my first thought is that it is fading, but I really can't imagine it being a red texas, given its shape.

I'm no expert but I'm gonna say flowerhorn, I bought a fish last weeek labeled red Texas but it ended up being kamfa flowerhorn

I can tell you its definitely not a red Texas though, it would just look like a red carpintis
