Hey hopefully Im posting this in the right spot if not Im sorry.. Anyways.. we have a 60g acrylic (just one of the many tanks we have) and for some reason, randomly we found these things or stuff on the front of the tank. I tried to get pics of them not sure what you guys can tell. Theyve been in the tank for a while and we havent had a death yet (knock on wood) Doesnt look like it harms them but whats funny is it comes and goes. Sometimes they are there sometimes they arent. We have always had problems with that tank its not over stocked, it has proper filtration and theres nothing out of the ordinary. We have another 60g acrylic which is currently overstocked due to a family emergency and its fine.GRR!:irked:

Umm..Not sure how else I can help explain better. We just have some blue botias, a dempsey, peacock cichlid, electric blue, an L264, and an L204. No live plants, just a piece of driftwood which has been in there for a while before these appeared. Duno whats goin on? Does anyone know how we should clean them? Or if we should worry? Im sorry if its a dumb thing like just some algae or somethin that I should know if it is, Ive never seen it look like that. Couldnt hurt to ask!! Any help is GREAT! Thanks all!!

that means you are feeding too much and your water needs to be changed. But not harmful. Give your tank a good cleaning and you're good

u r one smart onion! =)

now I just have to figure out why so many people disagree with that statement :cry::cry:

damn thats good and bad news i was hoping it was and it wasnt cuz I should have figured algae! We do normal water changes.. Well they seem to kinda sway a little bit.. maybe its just the filters and air stones makin it do that? Kinda creepy little moving things.. I take the airstone and put it next to them and they fall off. Thank you for the advise so far! Anyone else feel free to add their opinions :)

yup just looks liek hair algea with some $#!t stuck to it
