Yes I know this discus is very poor quality but I don't care I like him. He is active eats well and I think he could grow up to be ok.

Anyways I can not figuare out what he is maybe just a brown. Besides all his imperfection and the fact that he was starved what do you think he is.

He is only 2" and I think will get some more color once I get him back to health.

I'm a sucker for a fish in need and someone needs to love the rejects.

Yeah got my 2 uaru for free of this lady that let them get bad HITH. They are 100% and can't tell they ever had it. Most discus people think I'm crazy to take in these rejects but I like them the world would be boring if everyone was perfect same with fish IMO.

But I don't know what he is? I'm excited to see how he grows and what colors will come out.

I find its bit like the rich man driving around in his rolls royce looking down on you, well i like my old vw golf and i bet its quicker off the mark and cheaper to tinker with, oh and not so inbread!!!

no clue on ID, but his fins are starting to show great color. Maybe he will be the ugly duckling that turns into the swan?
That's what I hope. I got a pigeon blood that was pale and sad looking he has turned out to look great.

Yeah And it's not like I'm going to breed him so why can't he have a happy life. Poor little reject discus.

Right now it's looking like a red turquoise. If it develops fine, squiggly striation on the gills, it's snakeskin. Based on the number of stress bars, it has snakeskin in its blood somewhere down the line.

Thanks for the info. I guess only time will tell. He is in rough shape right now but is doing great.

What's it called when they have the chip in the eye?
