That is a beauty whatever it is! I don't see why it is not a severum. I guess I have just never seen a severum with a head like that, a body that big, or ever such long beautiful fins either! Makes me wanna go buy a couple severum now! Great looking fish whoever's it is.

Looks like a rotkeil to me, although I have never seen one with a hump like that.

Its a really nice male Severum but its not a hybrid unless its a Heros Sp. hybrid. I am not too knowledgeable on the different Severums but I do know its IMPOSSIBLE for them to interbreed outside their genus. So that means they CAN'T breed with anything but another Heros Sp.

Post this in the Central and South American Cichlid section and they will tell you what kind it is.
