What is this P?

I recently got my first P, but quickly noticed it didn't look quiet like pictures of others i have seen. It was listed as a Ruby Red Spilo, but looks much too dark. Can anybody help me?

its a ruby red spilo. I don't see anything wrong with it from the pics. the fish will look darker since you have black gravel.

Thanks, I was just looking at some of the others I've seen online and they look dramatically different, looking at pictures like these made me wonder

if you just received the fish recently then chances are that the fish is still stressed from the shipping, the color won't be as "pop" as compare to when it's settled complete. water condition, diet, mood of the fish, time of the day (if the fish just wake up), genetic , tank background and substrates are few of the factors that will effect the color on fish.

the two pictures show fish in light color substrate and yours is in black substrate, that will have different impact on the color as well.
