Ok this is one of the oldest plants in my tank. The leaves have blackish/brown spots on them. All my other plants are growning like weeds, Ha Ha. We I got this plant it had 3 leaves now it has 8 leaves, so I know it is growing. Just would like to know what it is missing out on. Light, food, water, co2, ect. thanks

Hey I never had this happen before but I've heard that it occurs when there's is access light or nutrients. The dark green or black spot algae happens usually on old leaves. If you want to you can trim leaves of affected areas. Otherwise I heard using excel works to get rid of it.

so what you saying it is too much of a good thing for the plant. Thanks I will cut down on the nutrients.
