What is this plant?

It doesn't have any roots, so it tends to not stay buried. Hold it down with rocks. My experience is that it will grow until it hits the surface of the water. And after water changes, the leaves would come off and clog the filter. They look good in a tank, but they can be a pain at times.
It's actually a floating plant in the wild but if you want to hold it down with rocks you can do that too. It you plant it it should be in the background.
