Could be. Have u heard the fish jumping? Tankmates? Would increase ur water changes and a little salt 1 tsp per g.
I would start with daily water changes and see if it gets better or worse.

He is a 120 gallon with 2 parrots and i do 50% weekly water changes
My aro has had a similar whitish patch on it's head since around a week. Less severe than on the picture and its been slowly shrinking on it's own. No medication. Weekly water changes. I also around that time got a new uv bulb for my uv sterilizer but I doubt it has anything to do with it.
Right near the right nostril. It was around 1/4 of the head big a week ago. I thought it was either a hit or he brushed against something but since it is going away I leave it alone.

Thanks i will do water changes every 4 days since i am already doing it weekly
