what is this pleco name or L number

I just got this new pleco from a friend who was moving out of the country.

it is late here, so I got this picture. he mentioned that it gets really big and is very good algae cleaner. he mentioned something like tiger something but I do not know the name.

so you know what L number is this one?

Need a clearer pic. If you can catch it and put it in a container would make it easier.

Looks to be a pterygoplichthys sp.

Hard to say for sure from the pictures, might be a stressed out l83 or l164(same fish, just different numbers).

I'd say an L-001 or L-063.

Either, gets very large (1+ feet) and not a good algae eater, especially when larger.

Thank you for mentioning this "gibbiceps", it led me to find the name which is Sailfin Plecostomus
