what is this slimy on my rtc???

Lots of slime from my experience with RTC is stress due to poor water quality usually brought on by a small aquarium or poor filtration.
ah., the water quality..,??.., and the filtration? hat will i do mister?? is this can kill my redtail???..,, gve me some advice? pls??
Maybe I can explain it differently
hindi siguro maganda yung tubig na gamit mo. dahil 'to sa infrequent water changes, panget yung filter mo, o masyadong maliit yung aquarium mo para sa mga catfish. nung nasa Pinas ako, nagbebenta sila ng mga box filters sa taas ng aquariu, maganda yung mechanical filtration, pero masama yung biological filtration para mag ibreak down ng ammonia.
The slime is probably caused by poor water quality. this can be caused by things like infrequent water changes, your catfish being in too small of an aquarium or from a cheap filter. When I lived in the philippines alot of stores sold box filters that hung over the top of the aquarium and provided good mechanical filtration but no biological filteration to break down ammonia.

hehe!!.., mrunong k pla bro e..,,, ah?.., mgandang klase ung filter q.., seaquest 2200 2 e.., tpos ung cnasbi mong sa taas ng aqcuarium mern aq nun bro.., overhead what we call.., ok nmn ung water na gnagmit q.., i stock the water 1 day.., kasi nawasa water d2..,

maybe u want to tell us ur tank size and a picture would be a good tool.

hehe.., my tank is only 50 gals.. coz my rtc is still small.,, a 50 gal. tank is big enough 4 my rtc., but today when i wake up.., the slime on his head gone!!.., he is ok now.., im very afraid.,yesterday., maybe he will die or not.., hehe..
yah.., i know.., i saw big rtc.., wow!! a real monster!!.., im planning 2 hav a indor pond.,,may i ask u something.., what is the fav. fud of rtc??..
