Looks like an Atlantic croaker (Micropogonias undulatus) to me.

Its an Atlantic Croaker, not a freshwater drum.

Not Atlantic Croaker, but Spot (Leiostomus xanthurus) (Norfolk Spot). A Sciaenid, which compasses drums and croakers as well. It appears that the actual spot is covered by the uploader's thumb. The other giveaway is the shape of the caudal fin. On Atlantic Croaker, there is a point in the middle of the caudal. You can also use the shape of the operculum to identify, but that isn't possible with this photo.
