wow how sad.... looks like its scales are wasting away... rotting .. being eaten.. have you treated it with any medicine.. does he eat? check all your water perimeters.. any other fish affected.. how long has he been this way.. have you added any fish..do you feed him live feeders... he was beautiful ... got to figure out what happened.. all i could find was MOUTH ROT

looks like it could be hith (hole in the head). this disease is caused by hexamita (a parasite). ive seen oscars with it but thats all ive seen. symptoms seem similar. clean water and add some salt. if you medicate, treat for parasites. a UV sterilizer could also help by killing any free floating parasites and bacteria in your tank water. UV sterilizer is not cheap but will protect your fish from most diseases and problems. like insurance for your tank. prob $150 for uv sterilizer and water pump. Once you have figured out what the problem is for sure, you could also catch your fish and apply melafix or pimafix directly to the wounds. this will help it heal faster but i wouldnt treat the whole tank with chemical if you can help it.
