What is this????

Last week I bought a couple of Bettas for my friend and I at work... and I didnt realize the one had this thing on its eye until after I brought it home. At first it looked like some kind of abscess on the eye.. but it seems to be getting worse..... Does anyone have any ideas on what it is and what I can do to fix it?

I wanted to apologize in advance for the Ewurm quality pics.. It is from the container and I was trying to get these quick and go home... so sorry again.. this was the best I can do.

Not tonight... I'll try again tomorrow... its in a little Betta container.. but its kind of old and hard to get a good pic through.. plus the flash makes it worse.. and if I turn off the flash its still bad.... lol... I will try again tomorrow.

It almost looks like an eye like a chameleon.. where the eye is like a big bulge with a centre dot. At first I thought it was going to fall off....

The fish (Scottie) seems to be doing okay though...

I can't tell from the pic but if it is a bacterial infection Maracyn, maracyn plus, or gentamycin should work.

rainbows get this and guppies use pima and mela fix in small dodses that will do it
