Okay i woke up today and i found this clear fungis type thing that is growing on my driftwood. I don't think it is good, but i dont know what it is to cure it. Any help on what it is, how harmfull, and tips of how to cure it? Thanks a bunch everyone.

You can see a chunk of it on the top left of the driftwood.

what kind of wood is it? I have seen this develop on mopani driftwood, but not on malaysian driftwood . . . I don't think it is dangerous, but it is unsightly, and far as I know, no fish (e.g., plecos) will eat it

bottom line, I don't use mopani wood, but have no problem using malaysian wood
