That's what I was thinking, but the dorsal fin is a little too sparkly and red to be a midevil?

I would have to agree with others who are saying hybrid, looks like it has lyonsi and either midas or devil IMO.

Thanks everyone, just saw him and knew he was different, was in a tank with red devils and jack dempsey, figured he was a hybrid of some sort, picked up a cheap 55 gallon for the garage figured he would look good in there.

I see the same things at my stores. they come in with the red devils too. they obviously have devil in them but cant be for sure what else. I would never assume that lfs have pure strains of midas or devils.
