i was just looking into my 15 gal. nano and i noticed a very small (about the size of 4 or 5 misis shrimp) jellyfish looking thing. it has a bell shaped body, with 4 'dots' on the bottum that look like tenticles. just wondering what he is and how to keep him safe if he is something worth keeping!

LOL I have a pretty good idea right now but before I stick my foot in my mouth - take a picture. I know they are small but if you can get up next to the tank at an angle and then zoom the photo once it's on your computer it should work. Once I see it, if it is what I am thinkin I will fill ya in.

Er...Do you have snails? Baby snail maybe or eggs? Just a guess. Sometimes (or rather some types) look to me like wee jelly blobs.
*edit* just realized this was the saltwater/brackish forum. Prolly not a snail, eh?

Well im also one of the proud owners, if i can say proud cause i have no idea what it is, i put it under a microscope and there it was, a little jelly, with tentacles and all, when u see it in the tank its so incredibly small that basically it looks like a couple of white dots doing a jellyfish motion, i would love to get a picture but it only comes out when i turn my filter off, if im lucky, havent seen it much, but there are at least 3 in my tank that i've seen swimming around at the same time, pls pls tell me what it is or at least what u think it is....im desperate i've looked all over the internet and all i could find was a very deadly microscopic jelly that has killed three people already....should i be worried?
