What is this

I returned from my vacation and while I was away this grew on my intake to my canister can anyone tell me what it is.
I found it mid water change

Looks like some type of mold spores, I can't be sure.

Depends on what it is. Hydra isn't harmful. It's not planaria. I see a discus, do you have a low ph and soft water?

I would guess some type of water mold. How long were you away? Kleen your filters if you haven't done it in a while and add some salt at 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons. If that doesn't clear it up some funguas clear will. Half a dose should do it. Try the cleanning and salt first.

Looks like brown algae to me unless I'm looking at wrong thing caused by lack of light to tank green to much light
