This is my 5" Trimac, I've had him since around Halloween when he was 1" or so. About two months ago he had started to get this growth on his side. I added some salt n a few days later it went away. It was visible for about 7 to 10 days total. It looked like his scales were pushed out n the area was a little reddish n the center of the "bump" was white. Now a few days ago it came back... I added a little salt again. It does not seem to bother him at all... he is the boss of the tank, eats great n swims fine... he does not even try to scratch it at all. I looked online n found nothing that matched up. Any help would be great as I would just like peace of mind. Thanks.
