Looks like a water dog. A type of large salamander. But I'm far from an expert on this type of animal.

Idk my friend caught it in the Ohio river tonight, said it had little legs on the back. My guess was mudpuppy but I wasn't sure.

I want it for my tank Def not a hellbender, if you do catch one KDFWR wants to know about it because they are rare.
