What is this????

Some kind of algae (i think)recently blooming in my tank, never had this before, does anyone know what could be the cause? Or a good way of getting rid of it?

The tank is 140liters and houses one singular Channa Pulchra, no heater is in the tank and the current temperature is 20degrees

It's staghorn algae. Kill it with Flourish Excel

Yes staghorn is very nasty. Excel works apparently, as mentioned. I have used 3% H2O2 in low doses for BBA reccently

Never heard of this type of algae before, what causes it so I can prevent it in the future??

Some plants like vallis are a little sensitive to the gluteraldehyde in excel. Best to do research on the plants that you have.
