no matter what i do for him he wont spawn! i get him new females, i do wcs, i raise the temp, i feed him treats but still nothing to show. He shows no interest in any females other than running them into the glass like a hockey player. i have had him for several months now and still nothing. whats going on?

d) ensure you have areas that a pair could hide in AND that had smooth surfaces whereby they can stick their eggs to, like an upside down planter, large sea shell, etc.
I'm a little surprised actually though, I can't seem to separate convicts fast enough...I put 5 in a 55g, before I close the lid there are 350 of em! I used to joke that they would breed and lay eggs on the wall of the bag they were in on the way home!
Well hopefully the new one will spawn. They breed like rabbits, mine do. I could have given you a couple males that have bred.
