  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
450liters tank 150cm wide
And I change my water 30/50% every weekend .
But I forgot last week so o changed today 70%
Also all my other fish look fine so I don't think it would be the water .

Moved him to another tank bc he was getting picked on by my convict pair but now it looks even worse

As for stock :
1 male Mayan 24cm
1 pair of carpinte 19 and 13 cm
4 frontosa 3x 15cm and 1x 25cm
1 C.Moorii pair 13 and 18 cm
1 Convict pair 15 and 8 cm
1 elliotti 8cm
1 syno hybrid 25cm
2 featherfin cat 23cm
1 gibbiceps 30cm
1 albino gibbiceps 48cm
And there is a weird catfish I forgot the name of 25cm
1 Oscar 10 cm

All the sizes are guesses after the last measuring 3 months ago

Will get a test tomorrow but will not be home all day so will test Thursday

Thanks for the help so far

I would treat him in a hospital tank or if you don't have one a Rubbermaid tub. Throw some seeded media in . Treat him for bacterial infection. He wont last if you don't start treating him right away . Also make sure the water is pristine .

Your tank is beyond overstocked. The 2 Gib plecs can overwhelm your bio filter by themselves. Water quality has put your Oscar in the condition its in. You have ammonia burn that has developed into bad infection. If your Ph is 7.5 or higher use Kanaplex. Under that level use Maracyn. You need to address the stock level in the tank or this will be a never ending problem. Start doing 3x weekly 75% water changes on the tank, and sell off lots of those fish.

Yes suprd71 is right . ammonia burn it is . Keep up the water changes every day. try for 10 % . Or every two days at the most .
