So in the 300 i have been seeing white film and white short stringy patches on my fish on and off for a month or longer... The latest is my small tinfoil barb... He has list all coloration( all red) and is swimming in one place at the bottom... My LARGE tinfoil (my favorite fish) has it to but not as bad... I will post pics below. What is it and how can i treat it (i wanna treat the entire tank...)
AND BTW THE BIG WHITE MARKS ON HIS BACK ARE BITE MARKS NOT STRINGY...

White and stringy makes me think fungal infection , have you tried any medications/salt? What are your water parameters?

^^^^ You must of just beat me out. lol! Hard to tell from the pics but since your mentioning bite marks I'm going to guess a fungal infection just like baconmeupscotty.

Could a fungal infection cause ALL the fish in the tank to have the stringy white stuff on and off???? And by bite marks i mean in PIC. 1 Towards his tail the large white spots... PLEASE USE PIC 2 IT IS THE BEST.

Any injury (like bites) can decrease a fish's immune system making them succesptable to a fungal infection, if it's been untreated for a month I'm not surprised they all have it. I'd up your wc schedule, and treat with an antifungal. I've never had to use one so I can't recommend one but I'm sure someone else will.

I know what you meant, I was saying when there's damage(like from say bites) fish can get a secondary fungal infection. Even in the second pic it's not clear as the fins just look ripped and I can't clearly see if there's a fungal infection on them as well. Here's pics of fish with fungal infections and it can be treated with aquarium salt or meds. if you shoot to the stickies here it'll give you the specifics of treating it.

Please post your water parameters Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, Ph and Gh if avaiable. Plaese list all fish species in the tank. Thes will better enable me to suggest an appropreate med.
