I love cats but i have this thing for large cats. But in the small range 2 i used to have a enjoyed were:

pseudohemiodon laticeps / whiptail cat gets about 12" though
and my old fave
pictus catfish Pimelodus pictus but thats about 5" but they look good in a shole.

i've owned a selection of cats in my fishkeeping hobbie, from corys to tiger shovel nose, and i must say that my favorate cats have got to br the ones i own now my sun catfish.

reason why! there super active there alwats swiming about my tank, there also not an agressive species, and they grow to a good faitr size of 18" plus they have super colouyration on them.

down point there slow growers

^I've seen pics of sun cats...they are definitely one of the most active catfish I've seen. I'm looking for a cat more along the 8-10 inch size though. How about the 4 Lined Pimelodella catfish (Pimelodella blochii)? Or Bumblebee Catfish? I hear there is a south american species and an asian species that get to about 8-10 inches.

The gulper cat.

Such an awesome cat, but I'm looking for something to buy lol. I don't have $500 for that badboy...I wish I did :) Keep'em coming! Thanks guys.

I love the look of big syno cats. There are some really nice looking ones.

I had my eye on a Yellow Variant Syno. angelicus, but since then, I've seen so many different types of cats I wanted to keep my options open.

Does anyone have any pics of a 4 Line Pimelodella?
