WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CICHLID?

I like Earth Eaters, eels, and lungfish! Not a fan of hybrids or tiger barbs!

My personal favorites would be EBJDs and Red Oscars. I'm not very fond of Tiger Barbs or Red Zebras.

So it's Oscars all the way for me!

I like the Parachromis and Vieja genus' the most.

And I've said this before... Parrots look like severum with down syndrome. I hate them.

It's really too hard for me to pick a fave.
But I can pick out those I hate.
I hate discus. They're whiney prissy little sob's.
I don't like synspilum. IMO the least attractive of the Vieja/Paratheraps group.
I've never really been a big fan of Texas, H. cyanoguttatus or C. carpintis. I've never liked the way they look when full grown, all hunchbackish. The only sexy one I've seen is C. carpintis from Laguna Chairel. I wouldn't mind having one of them.

WOW...OK! here it goes!

1. Severums...all type.. they can be peaceful but if they are in a bad mood they also can be tough!
2. Managuense..I had a few..They are like Mel Gibson in Mad Max..Cool and Bad ***!
3 Vieja Argentea..I wish I had the Room to get a few!

I dont like to use the word HATE.. so I'm going to say I dislike these:

1. Parrot's...(believe it it or not I have one.. its my Wifes..ugghh
2. Flowerhorns...That bump is not natural!!!! enough said!!
3. Green Terror.... an over hype cichlid! JMO

anything midas complex(specially uniquely colored cits, and red isletas)

reason being, they are like pets. they get big, aggressive, interactive, and you never know how they will look when they get big.
