I am currently saving for a 75 and I have few ideas for what I am going to do with it. I am having trouble deciding what exactly I want to do with it. Here is what I was thinking:
Catfish community
2 Sorubim elongatus
1 Pimelodus blochii

Cyprinidid community
5 Syncrossus berdmorei
7 Dawkinsia assmilis

Hemibagrus sp.
1 Hemibagrus "nemurus" or spilopterus
some sort of schooling species maybe a Dawkinsia or Metynnis fasciatus school
however there is some confusion here as the Hemibagrus species often sold as nemurus rarely grow over 1' and may possibly be a completely different species from H.nemurus. I may end up starting another thread on this topic alone as I don't want it to derail this thread.
So what are your opinions on these ideas, and which idea would go with personally and why?

When I first got my 75 I did all catfish tank..had like 15-20 corys, 2 pictus, Raphael catfish which would always hide in a log, grew out 2 id sharks in it

I would do a group of (5) Pictus catfish for the bottom, (9) Dension Barb group for middle and (9) Giant Danio group for middle to top, feeding with suitable sinking pellets size and you got all activity entire tank water level.
That is a good idea. I like that idea too.

Be prepared to pay a little for denisons though

Hmm I must say I quite like this idea, I was looking at Giant Danios the other day along with Mustache Danios

However I'm still curious to hear all of your opinions on what I suggested as well

I like Yuki's suggestion but just based on yours. I would say I kinda like the loach and barb idea. Why? I just love the colors on the Tigers and the barbs colors pop. Barbs will be actively swimming. Maybe do this group but add the giant danios also.
