brackish is basically water downed marine/saltwater. It all depends on what fish, how long, and where to get a good idea of how much "marine" salt you should use. i dont recomend freshwater aquarium salt
 
Thanks for the url........that was very helpfull..... i found out that im using a salt tonic instead of marine salt...... maby thats why my goby was so stressed out
