Been out of fish keeping for a new venture and has started to pay off...
My other passion aside from monster fish has been reptiles, specifically varanidae or monitor lizards. Specifically for me my favorite is the block headed monitors in the albigularis group.
I have had a pair for three years and before I had the lone male for 5 or so year's. Took me a long time to aquire an old enough and healthy enough female in the USA. Built a few enclosures and finally feel lile I got it right as she recently laid another healthy clutch and this would be her second, the first was 36 original eggs and all but one made it past the 30 day mark. The remaining is still in incubation from original lay date of 6/15/2018, and now this morning around 2am she laid her second clutch which looks like another 30 or so eggs. So here is an update and why ive keen out of the game so long...
