So I've been away at school since late August and my family has been taking care of my tank. To their credit they did a decent job until an early snow storm knocked out power a week ago at my house. I lost almost everything. My baby BGK, my chalceus, all of my tetras, and worst of all my pair of Atabapo severums, dead. All that survived were a small group of Laetacara thayeri. Looking at the bright side I now have a basically blank canvas of a tank. I came home this weekend to clean it up and change some things, I took out the sand and some of the driftwood and I added some river stones and plastic plants. My old boss at the petshop gave me a good sized silver dollar as well. I plan on getting another silver dollar or two, a new chalceus, and I was thinking of getting a H. psittacus as a centerpiece fish. Anyway here are some before and after pics, excuse the quality, they were taken on my phone.
