what kill my pb

anybody know why my peacock died. i just got him/her yesterday, its about 4". i came home from work and found him on the bottom of the tank motionless. the mouth was open, the gill was reddish, and had red marking on the head. it tank mate is a 4" pike( not sure what kind, the tip of the top fin is red) could the pike have killed it. i realy want a peacock bass.

I think that it's probably the pike, i has a pike and it pick off a lot of my fish overnight.

it was most likely stress..what are your water parameters, as well as temps?

i know how you feel man, i just lost 4 mono peacock bass about 3" the same way, one die each day

probably the pike... but dont rule out stress..
