did you put them in a new tank?

if you have high ammonia thats when you dont want to increase temps.
thats a no no.

people often say to increase temps to increase the speed of the life cycle of ich but often ich is there on stressed fish and maybe your tank is suspect too.

id only raise temps for this purpose if id tested water for ammonia.

but 2 degrees f raise aint much but you should lower temps by 2 if your ammonia is high. high pH and high temps make for a highly toxic form or ammonia.

oh yeah and your store has the disease prob, you bought them and introduced it to your tank.

your tank may have been not so good, the fish get stressed from the move and so your fish turn out worse than the ones in the store that either may have ben getting treatment or atleast never had the temperature raised nor the extra stress. thats why yours got worse ich than theirs..

now your tank has it. treat for two weeks no fish in it and then next time try hard not to buy fish that have ich.

not sure if the ich was so bad to kill but ich taking hold like that is often associated with immune breakdown.

Mixing 2 jars are one mistake, I put 5 2" jars in a 125gal thinking they'd get a long in a big tank, they fight all the time, 2nd time I'm trying this last time I tried 3 at 4" within a week there was only one left. I see other people with a few Aro's together I can't find the right mix good luck to you

i have never seen a aro with ick
