I would say Black, from the last pic.

Well the only reason I ask is cause another person seemed to think it may be a black. Now my phone isn't that great for pictures.

But I searched around and found a site that had one that looks like mine does right now. The glare from the light shining off of the scales makes it look alot more "silver" then it looks with me staring right at it. It has yellow tinys around the edge of the fins with some squiggly patterns in there. It's more on the grey side.

I hope it's ok with the forum that I post this link just as a reference as to what I'm describing. If you scroll down the link where they compare the black and silver arowanas mine looks like the bottom picture.

That's where I'm getting confused. Either way I am happy with my fish. I was just curious that's all. Thanks again!

I payed 50 bucks for it. It really isn't a big deal if it's a black or silver. I just thought if it was a black arowana that would be kind of cool.

I say Black, once more.

( would like to have better pix ) but would bet today's lunch bill that it is a Black.

thats a silver the tail gives it away

silvers have a larger tail like the one in your picture a black aros tail goes more to a fine tip
