Hey i want to get some ideas of a camera i want to get that takes nice clear quality shots(close up and far away) of fish and their tanks. If you could please tell what kind of camera you have and a pic of the best close up shot you have and tank shot you have i would greatly appriciate it:)
Thanks

I have a Kodak easyshare cx7430, but I don't like it to well, but it gets the job done.

How much money you got??:naughty: :naughty:

You can go with a point and shoot camera or DSLR. I have both and they both do pretty well. If you are keen on getting close up pics and this is your passion than I'd suggest a SLR camera paired up with a macro type of lens AND an off camera flash that you can place above the tank. Master these things and your pics will POP!!!

BUT if you are taking pics of BIG monster fish than macro lens wouldn't be necessary. I'm still learning the ropes on my SLR.

I don't know how to use my SLR very well so it looks like P&S shots.

Dam You youngblood!! You had to go and ask about cameras didn't ya!!! Mines broke :) Was a Nikon 4200.. I am still looking for a newer one.. But Am unable to buy what i want so i'll wait.. I keep hearing hands down that Digital SLR is the way to go..

And From what I've seen if you were already good with your crappy cams.. Then you will be excellent with the slr's :)
