what canister filter will run my 330g by itself.... got stuck on the sump b.s so im thinking of doing a huge canister
what kind of canister filter would suppurt a tank like this?

The biggest one I can think of is a fluval fx5 but I have no personal experience with it. With a tank that size you could probably do two canister.

I would not run just one canister filter on a 330G.
2-3 would be more like it.
Look into the Eheim 2262 and Fluval FX5.

I run 2 on a 240 imo its still not enough. With only 2 on a tanks like that your getting less than 4x turnover rate
It also depends on what your stock isUse a premade w/d along with 1 or 2 canisters if you want, im trying to get up the energy to get my sump set up still
I would run 2 fx5 personally just to make sure you get all the needed filtration. They are great filters I have two of them and like them allot. Then if needed add a power head or two to help move water and most important crap to the filter intake. That's the most important is getting the dirty stuff to the filter.
